For the last month or so I've been working on two sets of walnut and maple shelves for a local couple. The brief was for open shelf storage that was elegant, functional and a little unusual and this design was chosen from three submitted.
The shelves are made in solid maple and the boxes, American walnut all finished with a low maintenance satin finish acrylic lacquer.
The units stand either side of the front doorway and measure approximately six feet high and six feet wide
