About Me
Woodworking was an amateur passion of mine for many years. My love and understanding of wood must have been passed down from my father, who was a mechanical fitter by trade but would turn his hand to most things – he loved to restore antiques and experiment on his home-made lathe.
I started making furniture for friends and family in 1987 and by 1990 I decided to leave the security of a career at Rolls Royce in Derby to become a professional furniture maker. Working alone has allowed me to be flexible with design and maintain the quality of my work and I have resolutely avoided fitted furniture to focus on stand alone pieces.
Where to Find Me
My workshop and showroom are situated in the beautiful rural landscape of Dorset, just above Abbotsbury and only a few hundred yards from the Hardy Way footpath, with its stunning views along the coastline.
